Grade 1 pupil bullied
A father of a Grade 1 pupil in Eastdene Combined School alleges his son has been bullied at the school.
According to Mr Elias Mtsweni, his 7-year-old son Prince, came home from school bruised on the head.
“My son told me that a boy in his class hit him with stones during playtime. The bullying continued the following day, and he came back home crying. This time he told me the pupil took his chocolate and threw stones at him,” Mr Mtsweni claims.
The father added that when he discussed the matter with Prince’s class teacher, he was told that the parents of the accused pupil will be called in.
The teacher, known as Mrs Shoba refused to give comment on the matter saying “Let the person who informed you about this tell you all the details, I don’t have a comment “.
The school’s headmaster was not available at the school when contacted.
“The bullying has caused my son to become afraid of attending school. I wish something can be done to stop this abuse,” said the concerned father.

I have had an encounter with this Mrs Shoba and she is just rude and speaks ti these young kids as if they were adults. She has no compassion whatsover and does not understand that this kids are still young and need to be nurtured.
