Khoi-San royal feast
The Middelburg Khoi-San Royal house hosted their King Khoebaha Taaibosch-Davids and the Executive Mayor Mr Mike Masina on the 16th of December at a royal feast at the Tabernacle of God conference centre.
The purpose of the event was to create awareness and acknowledge the Kei Koranna tribe king, to introduce the king to the Khoi-San movement known as the Middelburg Khoi-San royal house, an initiative by the Middelburg Khoi-San Council.
“We should unite by understading each other, learning each other’s cultures and traditions,” said Mike Masina, Executive Mayor.
Khoi-San traditional foods were prepared while others where doing the traditional dances.
