Take a girl child to work day
The Middelburg and Mhluzi Police stations registered a formal partnership with Cell C and hosted 28 girls from Grade 10 to 12 from six high schools in Mhluzi and three schools in Middelburg.
The girls had the chance to experience first hand what it takes to be a police officer.
The services of the police were presented to them in order to influence future careers choices the girls might make.
