Blue Ribbon makes 9 991sandwiches
The Middelburg Blue Ribbon Bakery made 9 991 sandwiches in the 2016 Sandwich Challenge - a significant improvement compared to the 8 928 sandwiches they made last year.

The Blue Ribbon Sandwich Challenge is an exciting event where bakery staff can be part of a fantastic team that has a greater purpose of providing something to eat to the hungry.
The event is an annual Premier CSI event that runs nationally and includes all the bakeries over a period of one month. The sandwiches were distributed to the surrounding communities and beneficiaries that are usually supported by the bakery.
