Fined R300
Lucky Magolego (30) from Extension 6 in Mhluzi, was found guilty of failing to appear in court and was fined R300 or three months in jail.
Magolego, who faces a charge of drug possession for allegedly being caught in possession of cannabis (dagga) in November last year, was released on warning. When he failed to appear in court, his attorney at the time, withdrew his mandate.
Thereafter Magolego did appear before court, undertaking to conduct his own defence. He is set to appear before court next week Wednesday.
