Capitec burgled through roof
Five computers were stolen out of Capitec Bank in John Magagula Street this weekend, after housebreakers gained entry through the bank's roof.
Police say the branch, where the break-in occurred, is located in the Checkers centre walk-through.
The manager of the bank was reportedly notified by its security company doing patrols, about the break-in around 01:00, Sunday morning.
It is suspected that the business break-in may have occurred between Friday and Sunday morning, since the branch did not open for business on Saturday and Sunday.
Police say that no cash was stolen during the break-in, and that the robbers focused exclusively on computers.
