Loadshedding to continue
Steve Tshwete Local Municipality would like to inform residents that load shedding will continue throughout the festive season at Eskom's discretion until further notice.
Residents will be informed via SMS each time load shedding schedules are received.
Load shedding does not only affect lights but also power to pump water at stations thus affecting water supply. Residents are advised to use water sparingly as stations cannot keep up with the demand.
The public must note that load shedding is not under the control of the municipality therefore times and lengths of power cuts may vary from the schedule.
Residents are also advised to register for bulk SMS’s at the municipal offices.
