Middelburg College going big

"The Middelburg Nkangala college is being made bigger due to the high number of student enrollments" said Mr Lesetja Ledwaba who is the acting Campus Manager.

Middelburg College known as Midcol is getting twenty new classrooms and a bigger library, this means more students will be accepted.

The college currently has more than two thousand students registered in all faculties which are more than the campus can accommodate.

As a result mobile classrooms have been put to use at the Nkangala skills centre. The high demand is from both day and evening students.

“The college has a fundamental role to play in skills development and building more classes is the only solution” said Mr Ledwaba.

The project started on June 24, 2014 and should be completed on April 24, 2015, registration for the second trimester is in May 2015 and second semester in July 2015.

New lecturers, administration staff as well as general workers will be employed, Bursaries are also available. For more information contact Mr Ledwaba at: 072 680 6542 or the college at: 013 690 1819.
