Two truck, taxi collide
Two trucks and a Volkswagen minibus collided on the R542 between Komati Power Station and Gloria Mine.
More then ten people were injured.
The accident is believed to have been caused by the smoke from a fire on the side of the road.
The two trucks, from Mziki and Sathala Transport respectively, were traveling towards one another.
The Mziki truck is said to have been speeding and due to the poor visibility caused by the smoke, it ended up in oncoming traffic, causing the collision with the Sathala truck.
The minibus was traveling behind the Sathala truck, and drove into the collision.
The Mziki truck driver was seriously injured and the Sathala truck driver only slightly.
