Steve Tshwete Municipality approves three hardware stores to open after storm
Middelburg was hit by a severe thunderstorm with hail yesterday and in the light of that the Steve Tshwete Municipality gave approval to three hardware stores to open today.
The municipality gave approval to Middelburg Mega Hardware Store and Cashbuild Middelburg and Mhluzi to open for business from 09:00 to 12:00.
The Municipal Manager, Mr Bheki Khenisa said that their doors are open to sell essential goods that are required by the public to repair their movable and immovable properties that were damaged by the thunderstorm.
“You are therefore advised to follow and ensure that all safe and hygienic requirements as prescribed by the Government through the regulations issued in terms of the Disaster Management Act are adhered to.”
