Man injured after sleeping under truck
A case of reckless and negligent driving has been opened at 04:00 this morning after a truck drove over a man near Mid24 in Walter Sisulu Street.
According to information, the driver of a truck was stopped and informed that he drove over someone shortly after driving off from Mid24 where he was parked.
It is suspected that a man, got in under the truck to sleep and did not wake up when the truck started its engine.
He was admitted to hospital in a serious condition, but is conscious and able to communicate.
The Middelburg police are investigating the matter.
