Accused of raping corpse
Two Mhluzi residents, one from Extension 6 and the other from Tokologo, appeared in the Middelburg Magistrate's Court on charges of murder and suspicions that they raped the corpse.
The two accused, aged 36 and 35, cannot be named before they have pleaded at the court due to the sexual offences charge.
It is alleged that the men murdered a man only mentioned as Mntambara on 1 July 2016 and raped him.
The men were refused bail and the matter was postponed to next week for a final time for a decision by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
