Gallery: Mandela Day in Pictures
The Steve Tshwete Municipality took hands with Goedehoep Colliery and other stakeholders to dedicate Mandela day on 18 July towards numerous charity events all over Middelburg which included the painting, cleaning and renovation of the HEDC Youth Centre, cleaning of streams at Extension 8, planting of trees in Mandela Street, and reading and donation of books at the Middelburg Hospital Children’s Ward.
The event culminated with a mass gathering at Adelaide Tambo Community hall where sports equipment was handed over by Goedehoep Colliery.
