Kranspoort road closure schedule
The schedule for road closures at Kranspoort on the N11 from 16 to 22 May is as follow:
• Expect up to 90 minute delays on Monday and Friday, from 09:00 to 16:30.
• On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the pass will be closed from 11:00 to 15:00.
• Saturday and Sunday the pass will be open except for the normal stop and go delays.
The above schedule was implemented purely for motorist’s safety. Rock falls are not only fatal, it causes major clean-up operations to clear the road.
Motorists are urged to plan their trips according to the closure times stipulated.
