Nkosi in court for drug possession
A man from Mountainview in Mhluzi, who is currently out on bail for drug possession, was allegedly caught a second time and granted bail again.
It is alleged that Sibusiso Nkosi was caught in possession of seven pinches of nayope, three pokes of cannabis and four pinches of heroin on 25 January.
Bail was denied but on the day of his formal bail application, the investigating officer did not come to court, forcing the state to no longer oppose bail.
Nkosi was released on R1 000 bail. In an affidavit handed in at court, Nkosi said that he was out on bail at the time of his arrest after being charged with drug possession on March 2015.
The matter was postponed until 16 March for forensic results.
