Beware Middelburg!
Middelburg residents have been haunted with a series of break-ins and robberies over the last couple of weeks.
No one seems to be safe as 13 houses in several residential areas have been broken into over the last two weeks.
Criminals, sometimes armed with guns, other times with crowbar in hand, effortlessly break down doors and security gates and empty houses of their valuables.
In the most recent incident, a 79 year old man living in Aerorand, was held at gunpoint by robbers looking for guns and money.
