Video: Department joins with Nkosi family

The Department of Road and Transport with the effort to assist in improving road safety have put together a petition: “1 million signature campaign to the declaration of a national prayer day for road safety.”

The petition came after a tragic accident in Walter Sisulu Street early this month where a brand new Golf 7 was sliced into two by a tree; the accident claimed the lives of an adult, three children and left one child wheelchair bound.

A church service was held at the St Peters church in Mhluzi, that the parents of the three deceased children attended.

Mr Spiwe Nkosi spoke to the Observer on video on the aftermath of the accident and how the family feels about the petition.
