Video: Nasareth takes hands for Women’s day
The Apostolic Faith Mission called all women to join their march through the streets of Nasareth on 10 August for Women's day.
Churches took hands and celebrated the day with a walk through Nasareth and Extension 24.
Participants gathered at the Nasareth Combined School hall where a guest speaker, Mrs Anna de Vos, and mayor, Mr Mike Masina, addressed the gathering with inspiring words.
Nasareth also has a few women who are excelling within the community like Mrs Sandra Bunting, who wrote a book which is doing very well internationally.
“The book is about my journey with God and how he helped me to survive the most painful time of my entire life” says Mrs Bunting. This book is to inspire, give people new zeal for life and most of all, to keep their faith and trust in God. The book is titled “True Reflection of Trust, Hope and Restoration”.
The ladies of the broader community of Nasareth would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the sponsors that made the day possible. Supa Quick for the T-Shirts, Yethembe and Pastor Baba for the refreshments, and CCK Purified Water for the thirst quenchers.
The day was filled with prayer, music, laughter, gifts and just woman celebrating life.
