Top cop up for fraud
A high ranking police officer, and local cluster commander, brigadier Moses Bolton, appeared in court last Thursday, on two counts of fraud.
The charges stem from his alleged inflation of travelling claims.
A trial date has been set for 19 and 20 October in the Nelspruit Magistrates Court. According to an anonymous source within the SAPS, brigadier Bolton has been on leave since his appearance.
His official duties has been taken over by the local station commander, brigadier Jansen Ngoveni.
