A to Z on Baby X
Its going well with baby X, who was found dumped after birth next to the railway track, behind the banquet hall on 12 September 2014.
After a few days in hospital the baby girl was released and moved to a place of safety, in a neighbouring town.
She’s in the care of safety parents who also provide private healthcare to the infant, who crept into thousands of hearts, after she was discovered, hidden by shoulder length grass and building rubble, wrapped in advertising pamphlets.
It is unclear how long the baby had to endure the elements after birth, and she’s shown signs of lung weakness and needs to use a nebulizer daily.
During hospital birth, the airways of newborns are suctioned and breathing is monitored intensively.
She is being treated symptomatically by doctors, though a visit to a pediatric specialist is inevitable to determine the extent of her ailment.
