Charges after army accident
A 19 year-old man from Newtown appeared in the Middelburg court following an accident involving a Samil vehicle belonging to the South African National Defence Force.
Sinesipho Ncilela is facing charges of using a motorvehicle without consent and for not having a drivers licence.
He was involved in an accident on Friday 9 May where an army truck crashed into a tree, tolled and rolled.
It is alleged that Ncilela was busy transporting personal items with the truck without the knowledge of the owners thereof.
He was released on R500 bail and will appear in court again in June.
