During the council meeting, held today (Thursday) in the council chambers in Germiston, no clarity was given to when water distribution will be returned to normal.
While many residents wait desperately for news on the on-going water crisis the council spent little time on the topic.

This is a joke!!!! they don’t give a crap cause they have water etc at home, but i bet if it affected them we would have water long time ago…..
This would not have happened if they responded to calls about water taps stolen and thousands of litres of water stream for days on end into the roads and stormwater drains. They should really start doing maintenance and do the jobs they are supposed to do and paid for. Not lie on the grass and sleep for hours
The water situation will only be resolved once the government places properly qualified personal in charge of the resource management. Maybe a full on riot amongst the residents will cause the muncipality to react with urgency. Sooner or later this will be the affect of the lack of resources.
