Man arrested for Fishers' Hill housebreaking

Primrose police arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with a housebreaking that took place in Scorpia Road, Fishers’ Hill.

The incident was first reported to police by the homeowner.

The man explained that he had been in Limpopo from May 1 to 27.

When he returned home he found that his house had been broken into and a number of items, including a trailer, table, hi-fi, bed and TV had been taken.

The value of these items is estimated at R20 000.

After several weeks of investigation officers were able to make an arrest on July 18.
