The campaign aimed to bring a number of important issues to the community’s attention, including:

  •  sexual abuse against woman and children;
  •  liquor abuse;
  •  drug possession;
  •  drug abuse;.
  •  ATM safety;
  •  home safety;
  •  crimes and their penalties.

The campaign started at the Germiston Police Station in Spilsbury Road and went on to cover Germiston Sector One to Sector Five

The day started with the group receiving a safety briefing from Lieut Col Phiwe Ndwandwe, followed by WO André de Jager’s explanation of the route the group would take through the sectors of Germiston.

“We hope that more operations like these will raise the awareness we need to stop crime in the sectors we serve,” said Renee Germeshuisen, chairwoman of the Lambton Klip CPF.

  1. Lovely photo. But please note, this is not the team from Lambton Klip CPF. We are the Din-Al-View CPF, (Dinwiddie, Albemarle, Castleview)Germiston Sector 5. Present were Sector 1, Sector 2, Sector 4 (Lambton Klip) and Sector 5.
    Thanks

  2. This whole article is incorrect. The names are from the wrong side, our Chairman is Mr Tinus Jordaan. The briefing was given by Lt Col Ndwandwe. On the very left of the photo is Johan from SW Security. (to the left of Const. Hennie Viljoen).
    It was an operation between the Germiston SAPS and the Germiston
    CPF (All sectors (Sector 1 – CBD, Sector 2 – Dukhatole, Sector 4 – Lambton Klip and Sector 5 Din-Al-View) excluding sector 3 which is Delville). Please can you make the necessary corrections.
    Thank you
    Jean Ingram
    Vice-Chair
    Dinalview CPF

  3. The reaction officer from SW Security was Kobus Binneman and not Johan.

    Thank you
    Nadia (SW Security)
