Two men, aged 22 and 27, have been arrested on charges of murder and assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
They were caught in the Makause informal settlement, last Tuesday, after the victim’s sister opened a case at the Primrose Police Station.
She alleged that the men had hit her brother with bricks and that he had to be taken to Tambo Memorial Hospital, in Boksburg, for treatment, where he died due to the injuries he had sustained.
The SAPS followed up on some leads and found and arrested the men.
They are due to appear in the Germiston Magistrates Court soon.
