Primrose SAPS recently arrested a 24-year-old woman for possession of a stolen car.
The arrest was made when the police received a complaint about a vehicle that had been stopped in School Avenue for longer then was deemed necessary.
Officers travelled to the scene to investigate further.
“Upon their arrival, officers tested the vehicle’s details to determine if it had been stolen,” said Const Styles Maome, communication officer for the Primrose police.
“The officers found nothing out of the ordinary and continued on their patrol.
During their patrol officers noticed the same car, which then had a different registration and was being driven by a woman.
Maome said: “Our officers became suspicious and stopped and tested the ‘new’ vehicle’s details.
“The test came out positive and showed the car had been stolen and was linked to an Evander SAPS case number.”
Officers arrested the woman and transported her to the Primrose Police Station, where she was detained at the Primrose Police Station, pending her appearance in the Germiston Magistrates Court.
It helps that we have saps members whom does their required duties. It seems that the car thieves are targeting lambton. We’ve been riddled with car break ins and recently a stolen vehicle inbroad daylight. Make more precinct patrol vehicles available.

I really wish that you would report the whole story as it is I know this woman and she was scammed!!!! The bastard stole her car in this whole scam!! And now she’s on her feet and facing charges!!! In future please report the whole story and not just half of it!!!!

i know him personally and know what liar he is he even kills people and get away with it, the police must also get him but hes telling them stories and they believe him rather. but like we all know these days the cops don’t want to do their jobs and lock up innocent people out there! how much proof do they need to show thats he is guilty?????????????? leave the innocent woman and get the murderer thief.

got hold of him with my car that he tried to sell, now he is not attending the court cases, and the investigators cant even tell why they have not arrested him. he is now locked up at westville prison in durban. but still they cant see what thief person he is… still i cant even have my car back that he stole from me, and scammed me in the polo.
