They were remanded in custody and the case has been postponed until 17 May for bail application.<\/p>\n

Originally, 12 suspects were arrested and they appeared at the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on 9 May, wherein seven had the cases against them dropped.<\/p>\n

The suspects who are currently in custody awaiting bail are Cornelius van der Walt (55), Jan-Spuyt Steenkamp (32), Sibusiso Mabuse (43), Lucas Magagula (35) and Vusi Mhlongo (34).<\/p>\n
