A gang of robbers targeted Palazzo Jewellers close-by the mall.<\/p>\n

Police were worried that the robbers had also targeted Safari Ammunition, and a thorough search was done at its premises.<\/p>\n

A security officer on patrol drove past the break-in spurring the robbers to open fire on his bakkie.<\/p>\n

More than 100 rounds were fired at the guard who escaped shaken, but unharmed.<\/p>\n
