The Steve Tshwete Local Municipality has been reached, and informed\u00a0www.mobserver.co.za<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>that the outage is a result of heavy rains.<\/p>\n

Municipal technicians have been hard at work to restore the electricity since yesterday 22:00.<\/p>\n

The estimated restoration time for Kanonkop is said to be about three hours.
\nUnfortunately it can\u2019t be said when other areas with regain power.<\/p>\n

Areas affected are: Kanonkop, Aerorand, Middelburg Mall and Vaalbank areas, Middelburg Ext. 33, and certain parts of Tokologo.<\/p>\n
