The hotly contested by-elections in Mhluzi, Extension 8, came as a result of Cllr Michael Mbatiwe\u2019s passing in July.<\/p>\n

MEC Mahlangu, Mayor Tolo, ANC candidate Patrick Malinga and other delegates inspected homes of residents and listened to their complaints.<\/p>\n

ANC members were not the only ones lobbying in the blazing sun on Monday. The EFF was also seen canvassing the area. The DA was nowhere to be seen.<\/p>\n

Special voting will take place at allocated voting stations on 3rd October between 08:00 and 17:00. The elderly and disabled who have applied for home visits, will be assisted to vote on the 2nd of October.<\/p>\n

The voting stations are at the Seven Mountains of God tent as well as the Kutana Centre.<\/p>\n
