The pastor’s step-daughter accused him of rape earlier in 2017. Community members protested outside the Middelburg Magistrate Court<\/a> during his previous appearance in August.<\/p>\n

Protesters were upset when news of the withdrawal of the case reached their ears last week.<\/p>\n

The case was withdrawn due to a lack of evidence. The pastor\u2019s identity cannot be revealed in order to protect the identity of the victim.<\/p>\n
