The smell is believed to be coming from Boskrans wastewater treatment works.<\/p>\n

The disgusting smell has been engulfing\u00a0 various parts of Middelburg, with areas most affected being Dennesig and Kanonkop,\u00a0since Sunday.<\/p>\n

Geese have no choice but to swim in the Klein Olifants, contaminated by waste water from Boskrans.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

As a result, residents are frustrated at the inability by the municipality to solve the problem – which has been ongoing for years.<\/p>\n
