{"id":61336,"date":"2016-12-26T06:32:43","date_gmt":"2016-12-26T04:32:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mobserver.co.za\/?p=61336"},"modified":"2017-01-03T15:54:58","modified_gmt":"2017-01-03T13:54:58","slug":"deaf-man-looking-for-family","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/middelburg-observer\/news-headlines\/2016\/12\/26\/deaf-man-looking-for-family\/","title":{"rendered":"Deaf man looking for family"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>David Lawrence Ngobeni (64) was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident near Tonga in February this year.<\/p>\n<p>He fell into a coma, sustaining serious hearing loss in the process and was only discharged from hospital on 2 December.<\/p>\n<p>Thereafter Mr Ngobeni, who can only communicate via writing on a paper, traveled to Middelburg to search for his son who was working at the Middelburg Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Upon his arrival he was informed that his son has since relocated to Upington. No one knows the name of his son&#8217;s new employer.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Ngobeni is now stranded in Middelburg and will only be able to travel to Kuruman, where his family home is, after he has received his pensioner grant in January.<\/p>\n<p>If anyone knows something about Mr Ngobeni&#8217;s family or their whereabouts, can contact Capt.
