{"id":56812,"date":"2016-09-21T16:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-09-21T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/echonews.sites.caxton.co.za\/56812\/war-graves-survey-kicks-off\/"},"modified":"2016-09-22T09:41:02","modified_gmt":"2016-09-22T07:41:02","slug":"war-graves-survey-kicks-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/middelburg-observer\/news-headlines\/2016\/09\/21\/war-graves-survey-kicks-off\/","title":{"rendered":"Video: War graves survey kicks off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The study is being undertaken by Mr Okuhle Sapo, who is studying towards an Honours Degree in Physical Anthropology, and ultimately to become a forensic anthropologist after obtaining his Masters.<\/p>\n<p>The survey is headed by Dr Coen Nienaber, from the Department of Anatomy of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Pretoria.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Nienaber is presently the Coordinator for Archaeology in the Forensic Anthropology Research Centre of the university.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow Honours student, Goodness Shakoane, is also assisting with the field work.
