Steve Tshwete municipality spokesperson Prudence Magutle admitted that it was a crisis.<\/p>\n
“The Civil Engineering department is working around the clock to ensure that the water supply to the whole of Middelburg is fully restored by this afternoon (Friday)”, she said.<\/p>\n
Ms Magutle also denied that it was related to the municipal strike.<\/p>\n
“The incident had nothing to do with the protest action”<\/p>\n
