On Sunday the pass will be open, except for the normal stop go delays. The road will be closed from 05:00 till 14:00 on SATURDAY, 16 April 2016, due to the Loskop Marathon. Road users are asked to pass through the road before 05:00. The athlete\u2019s safety is of utmost importance.<\/p>\n
The above schedule was implemented purely for motorist\u2019s safety. Rock falls are not only fatal, it causes major clean-up operations to clear the road.<\/p>\n
Motorists are urged to plan their trips according to the closure times stipulated.<\/p>\n
