There were scorching performances from Aerosmith, Santana, Heart, Dave Mason, Ted Nugent, Mahogany Rush, Fleetwood Mac\u00a0and other big\u00a0names in 1970s rock music.<\/p>\n<div class='tie-fluid-width-video-wrapper tie-ignore-fitvid' style='margin-bottom: 30px;'>\n\t\t\t<iframe style='width: 100%; min-height: 300px; aspect-ratio: 16\/9;' src='https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/kubycvQvW7w' loading='lazy'><\/iframe>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<p>The concert helped pave the way for all-day festivals to become the routine big-business events they are today. The sequel to California Jam meant that the organisers had the benefit of learning from past festival mistakes and fix these problems to improve the experience for music lovers.
