{"id":43989,"date":"2016-03-01T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-03-01T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/echonews.sites.caxton.co.za\/43989\/cbd-revamp-underway\/"},"modified":"2016-03-01T07:42:40","modified_gmt":"2016-03-01T05:42:40","slug":"cbd-revamp-underway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/middelburg-observer\/news-headlines\/2016\/03\/01\/cbd-revamp-underway\/","title":{"rendered":"CBD revamp underway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A CBD improvement strategy commissioned by the Nkangala District was adopted in 2015 by the executive committee of MCCI and called for community input and participation.<\/p>\n<p>One of the key stakeholders identified by public participation in the improvement of the CBD is the property owners.<\/p>\n<p>The chamber established a partnership with property owners to start implementing a CBD Programme in the short term.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am excited on the project. This year we will work on uplifting and modernizing the existing buildings in the CBD, &#8221; said Mr Tobias van Loggerenberg, a property owner and architect.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We believe in the town and it&#8217;s future, this town have business potential.
