The following schedule will be implemented as from Monday, 6 July 2015.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Mondays, the pass will be closed at 09:00 till 10:30, from 11:00 till 12:30, from 13:00 till 14:30, and from 15:00 till 16:30. Vehicles will be afforded half hour intervals to pass through.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Tuesdays, the pass will be closed from 11:00 to 15:00.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Wednesdays, the pass will be closed from 11:00 to 15:00.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Thursdays, the pass will be closed from 11:00 to 15:00.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Fridays, the pass will be closed at 09:00 till 10:30, from 11:00 till 12:30, from 13:00 till 14:30, and from 15:00 till 16:30. Vehicles will be afforded half hour intervals to pass through.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Saturdays and Sundays the pass will be open except for the normal stop go delays.<\/p>\n
The above schedule was implemented purely for motorist\u2019s safety. Rock falls are not only fatal, it causes major clean-up operations to clear the road.<\/p>\n
