When he stopped at the red traffic robot next the OTK the truck driver stopped next to him. The truck drivers lane was marked with a one-way right turn arrow meaning he can only turn right.<\/p>\n<p>When the robot turned green the truck driver suddenly decided to go straight on, in stead of turning right and scratched Mr Mmonoa\u2019s company vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Mmonoa indicated to the truck driver with his hand, to pull over so that they can exchange information for insurance purposes.<\/p>\n<div class='tie-fluid-width-video-wrapper tie-ignore-fitvid' style='margin-bottom: 30px;'>\n\t\t\t<iframe style='width: 100%; min-height: 300px; aspect-ratio: 16\/9;' src='https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/S5ID58c3JBU' loading='lazy'><\/iframe>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<p>But the driver of the truck continued driving, indicating with his hand against his throat that he will kill Mr Mmonoa.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Mmonoa followed the truck driver all the way to Middelburg and tried to contact the eMalahleni police, who didn\u2019t answer the phone.<\/p>\n<p>He then phoned his superior, Ms Gwen Pretorius, who informed members of Middelburg 911, who contacted the local police.<\/p>\n<p>About two kilometers from town on the old eMalahleni Road the driver of the truck, went into the right lane and deliberately pushed Mr Mmonoa\u2019s vehicle sideways off the road.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from shock, Mr Mmonoa luckily, didn\u2019t obtain any injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the truck was pulled over and arrested.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-29238 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/middelburg-observer\/news-headlines\/2015\/05\/21\/truck-driver-arrested\/attachment\/img_933_614621587\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"270\" height=\"203\" src=\"https:\/\/dwu32cgxelq1c.cloudfront.net\/local_newspapers\/sites\/92\/2015\/05\/IMG_933_614621587-270x203.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-29240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dwu32cgxelq1c.cloudfront.net\/local_newspapers\/sites\/92\/2015\/05\/IMG_933_614621587-270x203.jpg 270w, https:\/\/dwu32cgxelq1c.cloudfront.net\/local_newspapers\/sites\/92\/2015\/05\/IMG_933_614621587-520x390.jpg 520w, https:\/\/dwu32cgxelq1c.cloudfront.net\/local_newspapers\/sites\/92\/2015\/05\/IMG_933_614621587.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 270px) 100vw, 270px\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-29240'>\n\t\t\t\tMr Mmonoa\u2019s vehicle was pushed from the road by a truck driver who thought that Mmonoa wanted to hijack him, on Monday.
