“Nazeera was on her way to her grandfather’s house to pray, when she was hit by a car,” her mother, Farana Tarmohammed, told the Observer Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Nazeera and her sister, Farzana (8) and their niece, Nadia (7), was on their way to their grandfather, Farouk Tarmohammed, when Nazeera stepped by accident in front of the car of Mr Stephen Hudson.<\/p>\n

Mr Farouk Tarmohammed was in minutes on the scene and stood by his granddaughter’s side while paramedics were trying to stabilise her.<\/p>\n

She never regained consciousness and died at 18:28 in the Life Midmed Hospital.<\/p>\n

Mrs Tarmohammed said that her daughter touched every person in the most amazing ways.<\/p>\n

She wrote this letter in memory of her daughter:<\/p>\n

“Everyone who knew her would smile at her presence. She would light up their faces even in her absence and her soul was too great for this world. So humble that her ways changed us and everyone close to her.<\/p>\n

She never made us feel down, she always made us happy. Silly little things. A free soul, she always showed us how free she was.<\/p>\n

Nazeera came into this world suddenly and so suddenly she left. She was truly an angel and now she is in care of Allah.<\/p>\n

She left us all a message and those who knew her will feel it indefinitely. Her message was clear: Allah, love, family.”<\/p>\n

Nazeera’s father, Yusuf, posted this letter on the Observer Facebook page:<\/p>\n

“A humble little soul. She gave us happiness in the tons. She had not much and was just the sweetest person to know.<\/p>\n

She would walk with her torn little shoes and her poppit little dress always outgrown cos she grew so fast.<\/p>\n

She would make the saddest moments in our home light up like the sun and on this day the sun gave back that light.<\/p>\n

As she lay lifeless in the white linen the sun brightened up her cloth and left the rest of the room dark.<\/p>\n

She would make tea and toast for her siblings and play mummy in the house. In fact at times she was the “mummy”. She made us right when we wronged, she made us fix what was broken and she made us see what we couldn’t on our own.<\/p>\n

She gave us pleasure like that which our most loving and happy dreams are filled with.<\/p>\n

She is my baby. Today she is under six feet of earth cold and alone. I will not question God’s authority. I will not fair with this occurrence but I will know that in her innocence at just 10 years old with on the holy day of Friday prayers (Juma)<\/p>\n

On her way to pray, clean and ready. She laughed right before the impact. She was ready. She was our angel.<\/p>\n

Learn from this people please. Cherish your loved ones. Care for them unconditionally and never forget that we are only here as a test and sometimes our tests are so severe they drain us emotionally and spiritually.<\/p>\n

My Angel is in a place I can’t go. But I will eventually. The pain comes from knowing that the long haul is without her.<\/p>\n

Kids are supposed to lay their parents to rest and not the other way round.<\/p>\n

I have pain like a truck standing on my chest. A thousand memories in my head.<\/p>\n

My baby is gone. My little angel is in Heaven now.<\/p>\n

How will I go on without her?”<\/p>\n

\u2022 Nazeera is survived by her parents, Farana and Yusuf, brothers Shakeel (13) and Ayyub (7) sister, Farzana (8), family and friends.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mr and Mrs Tarmohammed would like to thank the community and every one who was there for them with condolences and words of care and prayers in this time.<\/p>\n
