property.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Working on a tip-off, officers traveled to the Makause informal settlement to investigate claims that the man was selling stolen property.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Upon their arrival on the scene, officers found a man attempting to sell a wheelbarrow, spade, ladder and hammers.<\/p>\n<p>He was asked to produce proof of purchase for the items he was selling.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cHe could not produce any proof of purchase, instead he alleged that he found the items near the road,\u201d said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.<\/p>\n<p>He was arrested
