{"id":93647,"date":"2015-07-22T10:15:00","date_gmt":"2015-07-22T08:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/93647\/slipper-day-stickers-available-at-all-wimpy-outlets-countrywide\/"},"modified":"2015-07-22T11:28:14","modified_gmt":"2015-07-22T09:28:14","slug":"slipper-day-stickers-available-at-all-wimpy-outlets-countrywide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/news-headlines\/2015\/07\/22\/slipper-day-stickers-available-at-all-wimpy-outlets-countrywide\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Slipper Day\u2019 stickers available at all Wimpy outlets countrywide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year Reach For A Dream will be activating the annual Slipper Day campaign, on Friday, August 7.<\/p>\n<p>All South Africans can take part in the campaign by reaching for their slippers and wearing them to work, school, the mall, all in aid of helping children fighting life-threatening illnesses.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>You can help a child\u2019s dream to come true by buying your R10 sticker from a Wimpy until August 7 and proudly wearing them on Slipper Day.<\/p>\n<p>Those who wear their sticker and slippers to Wimpy on the actual day of the campaign will be offered a free cup of regular coffee.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cLast year stickers sold through Wimpy outlets resulted in just over R1.1-million in funds for Reach For A Dream and this year we would like to sell even more stickers to our loyal customers, to further aid this non-profit organisation,\u201d says Karabo Morudu, Wimpy&#8217;s brand manager.<\/p>\n<p>Reach For A Dream has been around for 27 years and has dedicated itself to making dreams come true.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll funds and proceeds raised through the our Slipper Day campaign will help to put a smile on the faces of the foundation\u2019s \u2018Dream Children\u2019,&#8221;
