Dina van Staden, a resident of Kowa Pienaar, expressed gratitude for the visit.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was such a treat to be spoilt like this by Netcare Sunward Park Hospital\u2019s management and staff; I can’t wait for the next visit.<\/p>\n
\u201cI had a lovely chat with some of them and it was very kind of them to bring us such heart-warming presents,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Taking the time to get to know the residents of this home and keeping them company is important to Netcare Sunward Park Hospital\u2019s staff and management, and they have planned weekly visits for the rest of the year.<\/p>\n
By all accounts, the hospital staff and management are as enthusiastic about these visits as the Kowa Pienaar residents.<\/p>\n
Naidu said: \u201cThe residents were so thrilled by the visit that they asked to be given extra time to get dressed to the nines before we started in the morning.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think I understand why \u2013 this is such a special interaction.\u201d<\/p>\n
