The ballet pupils at Diana Moore Dance World (DMDW) recently completed the ISTD Cecchetti Ballet Examinations, where they all passed with flying colours.

The Cecchetti Method is a system of training in classical ballet, designed strictly according to the laws of anatomy, and it stresses two essential ingredients – technical and artistic development in a dancer and a sensitive, musical response to all movements.

Amanda Reynolds, who has been teaching ballet at DMDW for five years, believes that this is the strongest group of ballet dancers she’s taught to date.

Thirteen pupils of the 23 who entered for the examinations achieved a distinction.
