{"id":90189,"date":"2015-05-25T10:05:00","date_gmt":"2015-05-25T08:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/90189\/share-some-love-and-support-the-home\/"},"modified":"2015-05-25T10:25:18","modified_gmt":"2015-05-25T08:25:18","slug":"share-some-love-and-support-the-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/news-headlines\/2015\/05\/25\/share-some-love-and-support-the-home\/","title":{"rendered":"All about the SAVF Kowa Pienaar Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The SAVF Kowa Pienaar Home for the frail and the disabled officially opened on April 1, 1980.<\/p>\n<p>The home provides services for the aged, as well as physically and mentally disabled people.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Kowa Pienaar Home is a place to meet new and old friends and is, therefore, a good start to a new beginning.<\/p>\n<p>The objectives of the home include:<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>To structure, manage and maintain comprehensive 24-hour quality care for 70 aged and disabled people.<\/li>\n<li>To structure, manage and maintain an assisted living component, targeting 15 people as an income-generating project on an ongoing basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Kowa Pienaar provides 24-hour quality medical care for illnesses like;
