{"id":84485,"date":"2015-03-24T11:15:00","date_gmt":"2015-03-24T09:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/84485\/road-closures-for-state-of-the-city-address\/"},"modified":"2015-03-24T11:24:29","modified_gmt":"2015-03-24T09:24:29","slug":"road-closures-for-state-of-the-city-address","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/news-headlines\/2015\/03\/24\/road-closures-for-state-of-the-city-address\/","title":{"rendered":"Road closures for State of the City Address"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ekurhuleni\u2019s executive mayor, Clr Mondli Gungubele, is expected to tell the people of Ekurhuleni and the rest of Gauteng, how the city has performed on its mandate since 2011, when he delivers the State of the City Address in the Germiston CBD, on Wednesday (March 25).<\/p>\n<p>Gungubele will not only outline the metro\u2019s Programme of Action (PoA), but will also reflect on major achievements realised during the past four years, especially in the areas of poverty, job creation, inequality, the aerotropolis, infrastructure development and basic services such as water, sanitation and energy among others.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe Mayor will deliver a report that will talk to all our people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will speak to business people, the middle class, high class, informal settlement dwellers, the young and the old.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThere will also be a strong element of economics because we remain determined to revive our manufacturing sector and expose new opportunities that come with our economic growth trajectory &#8211;
