Now in its sixth year, the Nissan Easter Festival is set to be better than ever, with all systems in place for a pleasurable and professional 10-day horse show, including, dressage, driving and show-jumping.<\/p>\n

Chairman of Kyalami Equestrian Park Clem dos Santos said: \u201cHaving Nissan on board has allowed us to offer more to the serious competitor, their supportive family members and even those experiencing the sport for the first time.<\/p>

\u201cThere\u2019s no doubt in my mind that this event is set to reach new heights in terms of both entertainment and horsemanship, and we strongly encourage everyone to join us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the years, the show has incorporated a host of other activities, such as Lipizzaner displays at the gala evenings, dog shows, vaulting and Western riding.<\/p>

Such non-stop action sees over 10 000 people attend the show at the show grounds.<\/p>\n

Easter is family time, which is why the show has catered for all ages throughout the event, including activities such as the Nissan Test Drive station, a Nissan Kids\u2019 Zone and a variety of food and market stalls.<\/p>\n

The pinnacle and highlight of this show is the Nissan SA Outdoor Grand Prix, which will be hosted this year at 2pm on April 6, in the Bob Charter Arena.<\/p>\n

The two-round competition sees the first round being set over 12 or 13 fences including, a water jump, a double and a treble combination.<\/p>\n

The top 24 riders will compete in this final event, with an estimated six to eight riders qualifying for the jump-off.<\/p>\n

Nicole Horwood won the competition for the second year in a row, last year, only seconds ahead of 2014 South African Rider of the Year, Dominey Alexander.<\/p>\n

With a refreshment area offering a wide range of food and beverages, as well as a host of stalls selling equestrian equipment and pet products, why not attend and become a part of history, as this event is set to be the best yet?<\/p>\n

The show runs from March 28 to April 6, with free entrance and plenty of fun for the whole family.<\/p>\n
