EWN, that Germiston mother,\u00a0Christa Tewitz, had to fight with surgeons at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital to help her daughter.<\/p>\n<p>It has been reported that mother and will now take legal action after her seven-year-old passed away.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>AnnaMarie Tweitz died on Saturday, January 3.<\/p>\n<p>AnnaMarie, a cancer patient, was in remission after suffering from a brain tumour but was readmitted to hospital shortly after Christmas.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Christa said it was a fight with surgeons from the very beginning, and is now reportedly seeking legal action over her daughter\u2019s death and medical bills amounting to over R150,000.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was cancer-free.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She was a cancer survivor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She went through radiation, she went through chemotherapy and she survived.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These are doctors who don\u2019t have a clue what they\u2019re doing and they are killing people.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I hold them responsible because they have killed my child,\u201d said Christa.<\/p>\n<p>Christa went on to describe how little AnnaMarie was starved for three days before undergoing surgery and this caused her critical condition to deteriorate.<\/p>\n<p>She claims the surgeons would not see her daughter until the young girl stopped breathing and she laid complaints.<\/p>\n<p>The Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital\u2019s neurosurgery head said that he regrets the child\u2019s death but has denied allegations of negligence.<\/p>\n<p>The GCN has made attempts to reach Christa Tewitz.<\/p>\n<p>More
