{"id":75874,"date":"2014-12-11T12:14:25","date_gmt":"2014-12-11T10:14:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/?p=75874"},"modified":"2014-12-11T10:10:40","modified_gmt":"2014-12-11T08:10:40","slug":"load-shedding-today-says-eskom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/news-headlines\/2014\/12\/11\/load-shedding-today-says-eskom\/","title":{"rendered":"No load shedding today &#8211; says Eskom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eskom has said this morning that the national power grid is now relatively stable and there&#8217;s no risk of load shedding today.<\/p>\n<p>The company, who have implemented load shedding for three consecutive weekends\u00a0 and again on Monday due to several problems at some of their existing power plants, said that back-up generators are now functioning properly.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Spokesman Khulu Phasiwe said the generators that malfunctioned have now come back online.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to explain that the system remains at risk, but power cuts are not expected.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe generating units which were taken out for service, some of them have returned, which is why we\u2019re having stability in the system.
